The EC's Joint Research Centre (JRC) attended the biennial TRA conference in Vienna to showcase the EU Transport Research & Innovation Status Assessment Report on the first overview of R&I projects and programmes from the open-access transport information system during TRA’s mobility planning session. The report, which was well received, uses information held in the Transport Research & Innovation Monitoring & Information System (TRIMIS) that supports the EU Strategic Transport Research & Innovation Agenda.
The EU Science Hub stand attracted a lot of interest over the four-day conference, with visitors including DG MOVE Commissioner, Violeta Bulc, Deputy Director-General for Research programmes, DG RTD European Commission, Signe Ratso, and a delegation of French transport stakeholders. Commissioner Bulc was keen to discuss with JRC staff the huge potential of the TRIMIS platform to analyse transport innovation.
