Results

The Working Group has produced a detailed report of questionnaires’ results from all its members upon the different aspects of durability of track geometry, quality, and position. More specifically, the work focused on the use of consolidators and/or Dynamic Track Stabiliser (DTS) to improve durability of track geometry maintenance. To achieve this result, the group worked in close cooperation with railways and industries.

The results of the project were presented at a seminar in Athens, linked to the Track Expert Group bi-annual meeting.

The document "Best practice guide for optimum track geometry durability" has been published.
