Background & Policy context
Policy makers need solid analysis to make decisions. This group will produce tools to help them, covering assessment of past policies, innovation development and prospective analysis.
Strategic Objectives
The mission of this group is transversal compared to the other ten groups within Predit 3, since it takes up - in a prospective and integrated way - all the elements of land transportation policies. It will be a matter of identifying the trends and means for a global transportation policy ensuring both more safety and sustainable development.
Programme organisation
This operational group focuses on three themes:
- Transport policy assessment
- Transport systems perspectives
- Economy and sociology of innovations.
