Overview
The project will consist in establishment and operation of a joint R&D centre AI‐Met4AI focused on joint research and development of artificial intelligence methods with application in automotive industry. The centre is a joint activity of renowned foreign producers of car parts, i.e. company VARROC Lighting Systems and Centre of Excellence IT4Innovations, division UO, Institute for Research and Application of Fuzzy Modelling (IT4I‐IRAFM).
The main activities of the joint centre AI‐Met4AI will be focused on the research of new methods of artificial intelligence using theoretical results of IRAFM in the area of fuzzy modelling and other tools of artificial intelligence. This will result in creation of a general software core usable in creating various industrial applications. A feedback of this research in the laboratory environment of Centre AI‐Met4AI together with partners will consist in finding the possibilities of future practical use of the proposed methods in areas of various activities. This will enable the partners to actively familiarise with new trends in the area of artificial intelligence usable in the development of new products and in increasing the production quality.
