Overview
The project relates to a restraint system ("car seat") intended for the transport of children in motor vehicles, reducing the dynamic load on the child being transported during a roadside vehicle crash. The design of the device allows the seat of the child safety seat to move with the baby in the direction transverse to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle after the locking element has been torn. As a side impact occurs, the locking element (or unlocking) is torn off and the car seat can move towards the centre of the vehicle, which, in conjunction with the additional elements of the seat structure, reduces the likelihood of injury to the child in the event of an accident.
