Overview

Objectives

The main objective of the project was to perform an analysis of driver´s behaviour in normal operation through the use method of eye tracking, which opens up new possibilities to increase road safety and the legal certainty.

Methodology

The project worked with an innovative methodology of expert witnesses in carrying out investigation attempting a traffic accident. The analysis was based on data obtained from 300 measurements of first optical response (FOR) of driver in the series of driving tests.
