Air transport

This Thematic Research Summary (TRS) provides an overview of EU-funded research on air transport. In the scope of the TRS are research projects financed under the Sixth and Seventh Framework Programmes (FP6 and FP7) and studies financed by the European Commission. It tackles research on meeting societal and market needs, maintaining and extending industry leadership and protecting the environment and energy supply. Furthermore, the publication presents air transport research concerning safety and security and prioritising research, testing capabilities and education.
