Security and safety

This Thematic Research Summary (TRS) provides an overview of EU-funded research and studies in the policy area of security and safety. In the scope of this TRS are research projects financed under the Sixth and Seventh Framework Programmes (FP6 and FP7). It tackles security-related research for land, air and maritime transport, and research on safety from the viewpoint of the human factor, vehicles and infrastructure.
