The objective of this report is to provide comprehensive and exhaustive  information on the development of alternative fuels transport systems in  the EU and market projections for the horizons 2020, 2030 and beyond, as well as to assess the progress in the context of the objectives for decarbonisation of transport established in the long-term strategy “Clean Planet for All”. This report updates and reviews the report "State of the Art on Alternative Fuels Transport Systems in the EU" issued in 2015.
