11th IFAC Symposium on Control in Transportation Systems 

The role of automatic control in traffic and transportation systems for the mobility of people and transportation of goods is essential in a modern society and is changing continuously. Issues when dealing with control in traffic and transportation systems include traffic safety, efficiency, sustainability, environment and energy. The Technical Committee on Transportation Systems of the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC) has recognised the importance of the application of automatic control theory and principles and has held numerous symposia on this topic.
