Overview

The overarching theme for this year's Conference on Transport Engineering is R-Evolution of Transport. This theme arises that the current situation of transport, with costs and externalities (congestion, emissions, fuel consumption, road accidents, etc.) increasingly higher, needs a change to return to the sustainable path. Therefore, we can ask ourselves if we need to evolve the traditional modes of transport or, on the contrary, what is needed is a revolution, involving a significant change in the current trend.

As in previous editions, the CIT 2021 seeks to promote national and international exchange of scientific and professional works in different areas of transport, in search of solutions that allow us to follow this “R-Evolution of transport”.

Conference topics inlcude, and more:

  • Bicycles and pedestrians
  • ITS, operation and management
  • New vehicles and means of mobility
  • Traffic and road safety
  • Training and innovation in transport
