As a premiere, the annual conference of the European Association for Accident Research and Analysis (EVU) will be hosted in France. More than ever, the focus of this conference is on practical issues found in the daily work of the reconstructionist throughout Europe. Even more than theory, the practical aspects will be tackled in the papers dealing with new aspects in Accident Reconstruction. A particular glance will emphasise on VRU (Vulnerable Road Users) and their collision mechanics. Two other sections will cover road-tyre interaction and low-speed collisions. For the first time in EVU’s history, a free forum will cover hot topics relevant to reconstructionists: electronics, pieces of evidence, psychology and more. In order to ensure the quality of the conference, simultaneous translation into 3 languages (English, French and German) will be offered. You will be given the unique opportunity to measure in concrete terms the activities and work performed in Europe by your fellow colleagues.
