TRF is dedicated to providing an interdisciplinary forum for the exchange of ideas among practitioners, researchers, and government officials regarding all modes of transportation, focusing on both domestic and international issues.
Conference themes include: quantifying the importance of transport research and data, census 2010, demographics, and American / International transport trends, nexus between transport, energy, the economy and the environment, freight transportation markets and performance, future capacity for intercity travel: air / highway / high-performance rail, the economics of transport infrastructure investment / pricing, transportation business models for the future.
