Overview
Due to the current situation caused by the coronavirus (COVID-19) we would like to announce that the International conference on traffic and transport psychology (ICTTP) planned for 2020 will be postponed to August 23-25, 2022. All presentations (oral and posters) accepted for 2020 will automatically be accepted for 2021 without any further review. In addition, the submission portal will be re-opened for new abstracts between August 2021 and December 2021. During this period of uncertainty, we hope to be able to count on your support. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions.
The conference is taking the Swedish 'Vision Zero' into a new decade. The Vision Zero Initiative stresses the fact that the road transport system is an entity in which different components such as road users, vehicles, and infrastructure must be made to interact with each other so that safety can be guaranteed. The key focus of this conference will, therefore, be on the role that traffic and transport psychology can play in achieving a safe and sustainable transport system.
Keynote speakers include:
- Professor Emeritus Icek Ajzen - a leader in social psychology
- Dr Judy Fleiter - Global Manager at the Global Road Safety Partnership
- Professor Natasha Merat - experimental psychologist
- Dr Graham Parkhurst - Professor of sustainable mobility
Further Information on the programme will be released soon.
