Annual POLIS Conference 2025
Description
The POLIS Network is hosting the Annual POLIS Conference 2025, Europe's leading sustainable urban mobility gathering, providing an unparalleled platform for cities and regions to showcase their transport achievements to a diverse audience of mobility experts, practitioners, and decision-makers from both public and private sectors.
Building on the success of the 2024 edition, which welcomed over 1,000 participants, the conference continues to serve as the premier forum for European local and regional authorities working together to promote sustainable mobility through innovative transport solutions. The event brings together policymakers, researchers, transport professionals, and innovators to address the most pressing challenges in urban transport whilst exploring cutting-edge solutions for sustainable, inclusive, and efficient mobility systems. The comprehensive two-day programme features more than 30 breakout sessions spanning a broad range of critical topics including decarbonisation, data governance, public transport, freight logistics, road safety, social equity, active mobility, and transport poverty.
On 27 November, participants can join one of five exclusive expert-led site visits showcasing Utrecht's best-in-class approaches to sustainable urban mobility. These hands-on tours explore cycling infrastructure, smart logistics, public transport coordination, rail operations, and the city's transformation from car-centric to people-first urban design.
