Clean Aviation Annual Forum
Description
The Clean Aviation Joint Undertaking is hosting its Annual Forum 2026 on 17–18 March at the Egmont Palace in Brussels, Belgium. This two-day event brings together policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, and innovation experts to explore the future of aviation innovation and discuss pathways towards cleaner, more competitive aviation. As Europe's leading public-private partnership for aviation research and innovation, Clean Aviation continues its mission to transform European aviation towards a sustainable and climate-neutral future by 2050 whilst maintaining Europe's global industrial leadership in aerospace.
The Annual Forum serves as the flagship event for showcasing Europe's progress in developing sustainable aviation technologies, while facilitating dialogue on the critical challenges facing the sector. Building on previous editions, the 2026 forum is expected to feature high-level presentations, panel discussions, and an exhibition area showcasing hardware and innovations from Clean Aviation's ongoing projects.
The forum provides a unique platform for exploring cutting-edge technologies, including electric and hybrid-electric propulsion systems, hydrogen-powered aircraft, sustainable aviation fuels integration, advanced aerodynamics and lightweight structures, digital aviation solutions, and noise reduction technologies. Participants gain insights into how policymakers and industry leaders are overcoming hurdles to reach climate neutrality whilst maintaining competitiveness in the global aerospace market. The event provides networking opportunities with key stakeholders from across Europe's aviation value chain, including major manufacturers, innovative small and medium-sized enterprises, research institutions, and regulatory bodies.
