Overview
This workshop allows urban mobility practitioners and stakeholders to have their say on policy and priorities being addressed at the European level related to Urban Vehicle Access Regulations (UVARs), and on specific actions to be included in the European Commission’s Urban Mobility Initiative.
In particular, it aims to gather feedback on how cities and stakeholders see the further roll-out of UVARs within the EU and what the EU can do to keep them effective.
The discussions are organised in two sessions, with the first focusing on UVARs as a tool to achieve behavioural change and air quality goals, and the second focusing on cross-border information and enforcement aspects of UVARs.
The event is organised by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport (DG MOVE) in cooperation with Eltis – the urban mobility observatory.
