EASA Annual Safety Conference 2025
Description
The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) is hosting its Annual Safety Conference 2025 on 12–13 November at the Copenhagen Marriott Hotel in Copenhagen, Denmark. This in-person event is being held in conjunction with Denmark's EU presidency and in cooperation with the Danish Civil Aviation and Railway Authority. Under the theme "Aviate-Navigate-Communicate: Safety Today, Safety Cross-Domain, Safety Tomorrow", the conference brings together regulators, industry leaders, operators, and innovators to address the evolving dynamics of aviation and the shared responsibility to maintain safe skies.
As aviation continues to face emerging challenges from technological advancement, operational complexity, and environmental transitions, this conference serves as a critical platform for high-level dialogue on aviation safety. The event addresses the Danish presidency's focus areas of competitiveness, green transition, and resilience, whilst examining key threats to aviation safety today and identifying optimal strategies to address them effectively.
Key topics include cross-domain safety issues, human challenges in maintenance operations, competitiveness within the aviation sector, conspicuity concerns, equipment and infrastructure safety, and the transition to Sustainable Aviation Fuels. High-level speakers from aviation authorities and all aviation domains will collaborate to reach consensus on principal current threats and the most effective approaches to mitigating these risks.
