EasyWay Conference 2008 - Improving the European Road System

The conference deals with a Europe-wide approach to mobility on the Trans-European Road Network (TERN) and it aims at providing an overview of what Intelligent Transport Systems can do in order to improve the mobility and safety of European citizens and protect the environment. The Euro-regions ARTS, CENTRICO, CONNECT, CORVETTE, SERTI, STREETWISE, VIKING and ITHACA have achieved a high level of cooperation between Member States and the main stakeholders of the TERN. This conference will provide a forum for the European ITS stakeholders to present the results achieved and to take a look into the future, share experiences and good practices, stimulate informed debate, develop strategies, and reinforce European cross border co-operation.
