Expanding the Use of Transport Smartcards: Latest Developments and Future Potential

The introduction of the Concessionary Travel Scheme in April 2008 has provided a significant boost to the use of Smartcards on public transport. This will be increased further in 2010 when London Oyster cards incorporate ITSO. This conference examines progress with implementation and looks at the future potential of such cards, sharing best practice at local level.
