The European Commission is hosting a Horizon Europe Cluster 5 Info Day on 15 January 2026 to provide comprehensive guidance on funding opportunities for research and innovation in climate, energy, and mobility. This online event, streamed via the European Commission's web platform, will focus on the twin green and digital transitions necessary to achieve climate neutrality in Europe by 2050. The Info Day will present the 2026 topics from the forthcoming Horizon Europe Work Programme 2026-2027, offering potential applicants essential insights into the policy context and practical guidance for developing competitive proposals.

The Info Day programme features multiple components designed to support applicants throughout the proposal development process. Attendees will receive insights into the policy context framing the 2026 calls, guidance on preparing high-quality proposals, and specific tips for enhancing the integration of Social Sciences and Humanities in relevant topics. 

Prior to the Info Day, the GREENET project—the network of Cluster 5 National Contact Points—will host an online networking and brokerage event on 14 January 2026 for potential applicants seeking project partners. This dedicated session will feature pitching opportunities where participants can present their organisations and project ideas, alongside bilateral meetings arranged by topic to facilitate consortium building.
