Information and Initiative Days (I&I Days) on vocational training and occupational qualifications of urban transport drivers

The Information and Initiative Days (I&I Days) are a joint initiative of UITP (represented by UITP Euro Team) and the European Transport Workers’ Federation (ETF) and aim to:

identify prerequisites to implement the Directive 2003/59, 'initial and continuing training of professional drivers in urban transport', through a survey carried out with the social partners and ministerial representatives;

set-up cooperation and interchange networks on the basis of good practices in the fields of initial and continuing training, and social dialogue;

draw up the recommendations of the European social partners involved in this joint initiative.
