ERTICO – ITS Europe is organising the 17th ITS European Congress from 27 to 29 April 2026 at the Istanbul Congress Centre in Istanbul, Türkiye. As Europe's leading event for Intelligent Transport Systems, the ITS European Congress has established itself as the premier forum for policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, and innovators to exchange knowledge, showcase cutting-edge developments, and build partnerships supporting Europe's ambition for sustainable, efficient, and inclusive transport ecosystems. 

The three-day programme addresses four strategic themes spanning the entire spectrum of intelligent transport systems. Safety and resilience through intelligent systems explores how to leverage intelligent technologies like artificial intelligence, cooperative intelligent transport systems, and vehicle-to-everything communication to enhance continuity, accountability, and impact. Multimodal mobility system management examines how to embed intelligent traffic and demand management with shared, automated, and public transport. Smart and sustainable urban mobility focuses on data-driven solutions, low-emission zones, and inclusive mobility planning. Cross-border and interoperable mobility addresses seamless travel across jurisdictions, standardisation, and digital infrastructure integration.

The Congress features a high-level programme where senior public and private sector leaders debate the future of European mobility, a technical programme presenting real-world use cases, research findings, and deployment stories, an ITS Arena connecting buyers and decision-makers with solutions from emerging players to market leaders, and an extensive exhibition with live demonstrations showcasing transport technologies in action.
