Overview

Due to the current COVID-19 outbreak, the Nordic Smart Cities Conference scheduled for 19 March 2020 in Copenhagen has been rescheduled for 3 September 2020. Please visit the event website. for the most up-to-date information.

City leaders need new ways of thinking about planning, designing and building our cities - putting the citizen and liveability at the heart of all future projects, developments, and transformations. Every city or municipality is different, with different challenges and a different culture - for cities to become really smart they must embrace their unique context.

Nordic Smart Cities 2020 will bring over 50 speakers from around the globe to discuss the key questions that city leaders face when they are planning a city for the future, such as governance, digitalisation, citizen happiness, climate change, and health. These topics are addressed in three key themes: Digital Cities, Sustainable Cities, Liveable Cities.
