Overview
The interface of wheel and rail in railway operations is a dynamic and complex area. Scientific studies and technological developments are continuously trying to improve the performance of both systems and to reduce side effects such as noise and vibrations. A good insight in their interaction and a thorough analysis of the system are important fundamentals for improvements.
This two-day international conference will address both wheel/rail interface and noise & vibrations by offering a fundamental platform for rail experts in the area of wheel/rail to exchange knowledge and experiences while meeting industry experts.
