STAR Conference

The 2013 Scottish Transport Applications & Research Conference will be held at The Lighthouse, Glasgow. The aims of the STAR are "to encourage researchers and practitioners with an interest in Scottish transport to present and debate recent transport research and applications".

Subject themes for the conference are: Transport for people; Integration of land use and transport; Performance and customer focus; Public and/or community transport; Carbon reduction and climate change; Technologies for change; Streetscape; Finance, procurement and franchising; Supply chain management and freight transport; Road and rail infrastructure; Maritime and air links; Transport resilience; Planning transport for major events.
