Overview
The Transport Practitioners’ Meeting started in the 70s as the ‘Summer Annual Meeting’ – a place for the small and growing community of Transport Planners to get together, network and share ideas.
The event has stayed true to its roots over the years, becoming the meeting place for all transport planners, highways engineers, placemakers and urban transport designers. TPM brings the wider transport and built environment community together for two days of world class networking, idea sharing and lively debate.
In 2017 we returned to Nottingham Conference Centre. Over two days delegates presented over 100 presentations, workshops, posters. Sixteen exhibitors were able to engage with decision makers in between sessions and during breaks with the convenient located exhibition area. There was plenty of opportunity for Networking at the pre-event social, the complimentary pre-awards drinks and the Award Dinner.
We expect and even more exciting and engaging event for 2018. This year, for the first time in many years, we are heading to Oxford. #2018TPM will be held 5 – 6 July at The Examination Schools in Oxford. There is plenty of opportunity to get involved be it presenting a poster or presentation, sponsoring a network session or simply soaking in the atmosphere – The Transport Practitioners’ Meeting is a must attend event for any practitioner!
