TransportNET - Air Transport Forum

TransportNET is hosting an Air Transport Forum at the University of Antwerp – Department of Transport and Regional Economics (TPR), on 13 December 2011. The aim of this forum is to address the most crucial issues in air transport at current, under the title ‘How to survive in the air transport sector?’. Specific topics dealt with by TransportNET professors and air transport business practitioners and policy makers during the seminar are:
Critical issues in the post-crisis air transportExpected climate change effects on the air transport sectorWealth destruction and demand for air travelPricing issues reconsidered: from ATC to airlines
The seminar will be concluded by a speech by Flemish Minister of Mobility and Public Works, Hilde Crevits, who will provide an update on Flanders Air Transport Network.
