UITP Workshop on congestion charging

The International Association of Public Transport (UITP) is organising a workshop on the theme: 'Is congestion charging the solution for better mobility in urban areas?' This workshop will allow a diverse international audience (public transport practitioners, organising authorities, academics and consultants) to exchange views on this measure.

On 11 May in the afternoon, participants will be offered the possibility to visit the Stockholm system for congestion charging.

The seminar, which will be held on the 2nd day, will include an overview (by practitioners) of lessons learned from previous initiatives, presentations by academics and a round table discussion. The workshop will be concluded with a press conference.
