ANNOUNCEMENT
A new Thematic Research Summary on Regional and Rural Transport is now available for download from the thematic publications section of the Transport Research Knowledge Centre (TRKC).
The new paper covers two separate but related themes:
- Rural transport deals with transport in low-density and remote areas, with projects focusing on accessibility, e.g. in relation to public transport, as well as management of local roads.
- Regional transport is more concerned with national and EU connectivity and cohesion. Several projects in this theme concentrate on medium-distance transport corridors in Europe, particularly on a cross-border intra- and inter-regional level.
