Overview

Objectives

The PRELICA project aimed to reduce the hydro-acoustic emissions of the marine propeller through accurate predictions that are able to simulate the noise radiated at all frequencies through the combination of potential methods:

  • RANS and LES,
  • the use of advanced techniques of numerical modeling, and
  • modern optimisation algorithms.
