Overview
Background & Policy context
The purpose of the assignment was to produce a rationale and feasibility study
on the possibilities for rehabilitation of a number of road infrastructure projects.
Strategic Objectives
The scope of consultancy services consists of the following basic tasks:
1. Preliminary investigation, involving target definition, possible
alternatives and evaluation, study of traffic and costing.
2. Financial and cost-benefit analysis, which includes project budgeting,
financial sustainability and funding sources, as well as evaluation of the
environmental impact.
Programme organisation
Key partners in the program for cross-border cooperation are the Ministry of
Development, Public Works and Housing of Romania and the Ministry of Regional
Development and Public Works in Bulgaria.
