Clean Sky 2 Joint Technology Initiative
Clean Sky is the largest European research programme developing innovative, cutting-edge technology aimed at reducing CO2, gas emissions and noise levels produced by aircraft. Funded by the EU’s Horizon 2020 programme, Clean Sky contributes to strengthening European aero-industry collaboration, global leadership and competitiveness.
Partners are selected through open Calls for Proposals (CfPs). The topics for each call are proposed by the Steering Committee of each Technology Platform and reviewed by the Joint Undertaking. Subsequently, the call is published and applications are received and evaluated against the following award criteria:
- impact and
- quality and efficiency of implementation
and according to the specific award criteria, of each of the 3 above criteria, as laid down in the Work Plan.
Once appointed, partners proceed with their projects within an agreed timeframe and budget.

The eighth Call for Proposals [CfP08] is open since 12 April 2018 via the H2020 Participant Portal.
