The target of this group was to contribute towards quality of transport by the development of services specific to each category of travellers. The reflection took into account users' expectations before and during their trips. A special consideration was given to safety and employment in public transport, and to problems concerning the ergonomics of access.
Research fields covered services related to trips (connections, etc) and to those aimed at facilitating easier use of stations in full security.
Other projects focused on passenger information (on the spot or remote) and services intended for simplifying payment of the transport fare. The use of multi-service cards should facilitate connections between road, rail and air transport, should they be private or public (parking, toll, train travel, etc).
