Overview
The strategic Plan for the transport of goods by road (PETRA) constitutes a frame reference in which organized the joint performances of all the sector for a period of five years with its final aim to reach its modernisation and, with it, a competitive positioning.
The principal objective is to support all those initiatives in the different perspective related to the transport by highway: administrative, organised, technological, etc.
The programme has ten strategic action lines:
- Entreprise structure (dimension)
- Training
- New technologies
- Image, Good practice, Information
- Logistics and commercialisation
- Arrangement of the sector
- Administrative performance
- Legal frame
- Social-labour performances
- Infrastructures and intermodality
- Outer expansion
- Environmental improvements.
The programme has been elaborated from ten strategic lines and contains a set of measurements that includes 27 different projects, each one of which is made up of several measurements and performances.
Each one of the 27 projects sets out within the frame of one of the ten major lines of performance, which does not mean that its finality is confined specifically to that strategic line. From an integral vision of the Plan, the ten major areas are linked to each other and for that reason, for each of the 27 projects, the other projects to which it is directly tied are identified.
