The project aims to provide flight crew with actual and precise weather information in a way which brings high added value without significant investments into the avionics equipment or ground infrastructure.

The benefits for the Czech Republic are three fold:

• - higher efficiency, quality and safety of air transport;
• - innovative approach in processing, distribution and visualization of meteo data;
• - effective collaboration between the industry, flight control, operator and academic subjects.

The project goal will be accomplished by design, development and validation of four sub-systems, being represented by several functional samples and four final prototypes. These outputs will be ready for commercialization during 2017. The final weather service will be available worldwide.
