Application of multicriteria evaluation for selection of a level crossing type

The project deals with creation of a methodology for selection of level crossings with help of multi-criteria evaluation. 

The proposed methodology suppouses taking into account all relevant impacts of the design in a given locality, especially:

• safety,
• capacity,
• financial costs (building, running and indirect costs)
• environmental impact (noise, emission).

Based on the specification of these parameters it will be possible to choose the best solution with help of the created methodology and software.
