The project aims at preparation and validation of a new technique of thermal mapping of the road surface, based on evaluation of data from temperature sensors installed on common floating vehicles. The main benefit of the new method will be the elimination of limitations of the classical method with a single car and a mapping plan. Project results will be applied in information support of winter road maintenance.
