The project “Mobility Centre” aims at developing, enhancing and promoting the various public transport offers in the regions bordering Val Venosta and Switzerland. The project supports the creation of a cross-border network, including bike, cultural and ecological tourism (sector in which tourism will have a significant growth). To successfully promote this, a good public transport system is fundamental to decrease individual traffic and to encourage people’s use of public transport. The current project wants to create a mobility centre to promote local and bordering areas and to create tourist packages that will include public transport. The mobility centre will also have a ticket and information office.
