There is a need of promotion of instruments enabling co-financing of freight transport in the Switzerland. It would enable better efficiency of freight transport and acceptance by public.
Objectives
Promotion the acceptance of the instruments for co-financing of dynamic transport for a dynamic economy by both the professionals and wide public.

Results
Project promotes the acceptance of the following instruments:
- Price instruments for freight transport (an input for external cost methodology, awareness concerning the need of including external costs, assistance in implementation of the EU Eurovignette Directive);
- Infrastructure investments (practical examples, adjustments regulatory framework, building network);
- Alpine Crossing Exchange (building of network, contribution to a uniform approach of the Alpine countries, awareness raising);
- Application / review of existing regulations (practical examples, behavior code);
- Traffic avoidance (case studies / impact, promotion of a traffic avoidance concept).
