The project tries to solve a local problem both in Gyula and Arad – the lack of bicycle routes in the settlements and between the two cities, through elaboration of technical designs. 16 km bicycle route is planned in Gyula and 14 km in Arad.

The project is environmentally friendly and the two bicycle networks could be the base for further development of bicycle transport in the cross-border region. The target group of the project are the inhabitants of the two regions who use bicycles, visitors, tourists and other local people, tourists, services providers etc.
