The Action is the second phase of a Global Project aiming at the deployment and operation of a comprehensive multi-standard, inter-operable fast charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in France.

The Action builds on the knowledge and results achieved through the "CORRI-DOOR" TEN-T funded study with real-life trial that aimed at initiating the market though the implementation of 200 electric vehicle fast-charging points. The general objective addressed by the Action is to support the deployment of a sustainable and efficient transport system and to promote the decarbonisation of road transport through the deployment of the electric vehicle charging infrastructure.

The Action is implemented along various Core Network Corridors: North Sea-Mediterranean, Mediterranean and Atlantic and Core Network in France. The Action consists of deploying 61 charging pools of 2 to 8 charging points of 50 to 100kW, resulting in the roll-out of 300 new fast charging points.

In the long term, the Action aims to reduce CO2 emissions, evaluated as 115,884 tonnes over the project's lifetime.
