The project aims to prepare technical studies and documentation necessary for the effective execution of the navigation on the Somes River, in the area of Satu Mare and Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg countries. The main activity of the project is the development of necessary plans and studies (Study of the impact of navigation on Somes river on biodiversity; Study of the topography of the Somes river, based on measurements made with a device with an ultrasound device mounted on a boat; Photogrammetric survey of the riverbed and banks of the Somes river, based on aerial photographs, which illustrates the peculiarities of the course, the two side dams. The target group is formed by the inhabitants of riparian settlements of Somes river (aprox. 210000 people from Romania, aprox. 28000 people from Hungary) and tourists (aprox. 60000).
