Objectives:
The goal of the project is the development of a next generation ICT system focused on solution of tasks crucial for Latvian society and contributing to the economy transformation to products and services with high added value. The main project is organised into four sub-projects:
- Development of technologies for cyber physical systems with applications in medicine and smart transport;
- Ontology-based knowledge engineering technologies suitable for web environment;
- BIOPHOTONICS: imaging, diagnostics and monitoring;
- Development of technologies for secure and reliable smart-city.

Key Results:
One of the tasks identified in the project included developing and exploring the applications of smart sensors and their network technologies in smart transport systems.
