Overview

Background & policy context:

The Cyber Security Digital Service Infrastructure (DSI) is underpinned by the Security of Network and Information Systems (NIS) Directive (2016/1148) and it supports the development of the cybersecurity capacities in the EU Member States, including the cybersecurity capabilities for Cooperative Connected and Automated Mobility (CCAM).

Objectives:

The goal of the Action is to fully integrate cybersecurity requirements in the development of the technologies associated with cooperative, connected and automated mobility (CCAM). It will perform analysis in order to get a better understanding of the cybersecurity vulnerabilities and risks associated to the CCAM. It will further perform tests with actual vehicles in the 5G cross-border Vigo – Oporto corridor.

As a result comprehensive reports will cover the identified vulnerabilities, their potential impact, the cost and likelihood of the attacks, and proposed countermeasures will be prepared.

The Action will also improve the beneficiary's preparedness and situational awareness through the cooperation with relevant cybersecurity stakeholders at the national and European level.

The Action is built upon the H2020 project 5G-MOBIX, which will provide the infrastructure for the 5G corridor between Vigo and Oporto.
