Results

RESULTS
An experimental quality rail was developed and the welding parameters for crackling and aluminothermic welding were defined. A robotic welding head was designed to automate the process and achieve a low level of defects. In addition, sensors with wireless communication systems for specific maintenance were developed and installed on the ArcelorMittal rail network.
