Overview
Background & policy context:
This project will deliver an improved version of the National Transport Model (NTM) which will, amongst other improvements, represent inter-area reassignment of highway traffic in response to road user charges or increasing traffic congestion.
This will be accompanied by appropriate methodological and user documentation.
Objectives:
The objective of this project is to gain results that will form a key part in an enhanced National Transport Model (NTM), in order to test with greater confidence and accuracy the combined impact of proposed transport policies.
