Overview
The proposed project solves the development of an information system designed for the calculation the traffic performances of the vehicles registered in the CR according to types and categories of the vehicles and according to their age. The roadworthiness test data will be exported from the Centralized Information System of the Technical Inspection Stations and of the Motor Vehicle Register.

Results
The results are mentioned below:
1) Information system for calculation of the traffic performance of road motor vehicles - the Information system for calculation of the transport performance of road motor vehicles was prepared on the basis of the methodology and given into the testing operation in accordance with the aims of the research project. In this Information system there were defined two different areas - the area of the local processing of large volumes data and area for central publications of the calculated values. The data calculated in the module for the transport performance calculation will be stored in the local database. The module of the information system for calculation of the transport performance of road motor vehicles which is determined for presentation provides user access to data generated in the module of calculation.
2) Methodology for calculation of vehicle kilometres using data of the technical inspections - the certified methodology includes an analysis of the EU and the Czech Republic legislation concerning the registration of motor vehicles and their periodic inspections. This methodology includes the analysis of methodology used in selected EU countries for calculating vehicle kilometres from the data of the regular technical inspections of motor vehicles. Based on this analysis, it is proposed a set of algorithms of vehicle kilometres calculations in accordance with established types and categories and defined the data structure for transferring data from the information systems of the Central Register of Vehicle and the Central Information System of the Technical Inspection Stations into the information system of calculating the traffic performance of motor vehicles. Methodology for calculating vehicle kilometres from data of technical inspections forms the basis for the creation of an information system for the needs of public administration.
3) Module calculating the vehicle-kilometers of the road motor vehicles - the module calculating the traffic performance of road motor vehicles is a central part of the information system of calculation the transport performance of motor vehicles registered in the Czech Republic using the data from Centralized Information System of Inspection Stations. Module calculating the traffic performance of road motor vehicles is used for preliminary data processing of large data sets from the Motor Vehicle Register and from Centralized Information System of Inspection Stations.
