Overview

Objectives

The project proposes to develop technical studies and plans for building a cross-border road, Salard-Tamaseu-Kismarja. The construction of the new road will give access to larger localities, like Biharia (5000 inhabitants). On the Hungarian side, the road will have a positive impact on the inhabitants of Nagykereki (2000 inh.), Pocsaj (2800 inh.) and Hencida (2000 inh.) The road will provide possibility for cooperation and will facilitate the better exploitation of the region's resources and will enhance business opportunities, will create new jobs at the new companies that will be set up and will improve the accessibility of the inhabitants to the micro-region.
