Overview
Background & Policy context
The Baltic-Adriatic Rail Freight Corridor is linking some of the most important Eastern and Southern areas of Europe, providing rail freight capacity according to the market demand.
Objectives
The aim of the Action is to elaborate studies enhancing the attractiveness of this Freight Corridor. Activities of the Action include:
- Monitoring the performance of the Corridor
- Customer information system and running of a 'one stop shop'
- Corridor capacity improvement studies
Methodology
The Action will improve the rail freight transport flows. Moreover, it will increase transport efficiency as well as sustainability and competitiveness along the Baltic-Adriatic Corridor.
